FUNDRAISING
Fundraising events at Kaiser are essential if we are to continue
offering our children the best possible education. The money we raise
is put to many uses:

The following are our principal fundraisers. Please contact any member of the PTA board to express your interest in helping make these events an even greater success. Kaiser Elementary School Auction is an adult
party with Silent and Live Auctions held each year. It is one of our
main fundraisers and a winner at all levels - it raises money for
our childrens education, it provides tax deductions for both
donors and bidders, and its a marvelous way to spend an evening
with other parents of Kaiser students. Volunteers are needed to follow
up on solicitation letters, sell bar and raffle tickets, categorize
donated auction items, set up and display Silent Auction tables and
help with promotion and decorations.
Other passive fundraising includes collecting box-tops and used ink-jet cartridges for recycling. Information about these programs and collection boxes are located in the school office.
THE WALK-A-THON is a day-long event scheduled in the spring
for Kaiser students and families. This activity affords the children
an opportunity to raise money for their school. They obtain sponsors
who agree to donate according to how far the children walk. Walk-A-Thon
Day is full of challenges and excitement for the walkers, who may
earn T-shirts and a variety of awards. The children love this event,
and it's another of our major fundraisers. Parent volunteers are
needed to register participants, staff the check points, hand out
juice bars, make badges, and to set up and take down stations.
