Kaiser Walk-a-thon
Saturday May 2, 2009
As you can see, the Walk-a-thon was a great success. We don't care about any stinkin' rain! You can see many more of Alison May's photos by clicking here or watch Monte McClain's video on YouTube.

Our Annual Walk-A-Thon was Saturday, May 2nd. It's the fundraiser where Kaiser’s kids earn money for their school. Our kids get the pledges and walk the laps to earn the money from their sponsors. It’s also the event that earns the PTA one third of our annual operating budget.
PARENTS/GRANDPARENTS/GUARDIANS:
It’s an exciting event filled with a great sense of community.
Kids walk. Parents volunteer. Everyone eats. The sun is shining
(oh how we hope given the last thirty days!). Everyone either
earns or purchases a Walk-A-Thon t-shirt. And of course, the
Book Faire is going on, so that everyone finds something to
do during the Walk-A-Thon and what a way to reward our kids
with the purchase of a book after a long day of walking, and
walking and walking.
This year’s theme: Yes We Can!!
